Job summary

Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Prep Cook to organize prep work and maintain a smooth kitchen operation. You will handle chopping, weighing, and washing, and ensure items are ready for service while following the company recipe manual and proper plate presentation.

You will read recipes and POS orders, verify labeling, and communicate ticket times to ensure on-time food flow to guests. The role requires stamina, safety certification, and the ability to work a flexible schedule,

Qualifications

• Must complete food safety certification.
• Five day work week with two days off.
• Health and dental insurance offered.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for full shift and read recipes.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and sanitation policies and training.
• Prepare menu items per recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Rotate stock to par level to prevent disruption.
• Assist with prep work and setting up stations.
• Read recipes, labels, and POS orders; communicate times in kitchen.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grill, stove, slicer).
• Break down and clean stations at closing.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
