Job summary

Flanigan's in Florida is seeking Prep Cooks to organize prep, assist during service, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly. You’ll chop, weigh, and assemble menu items following our recipe manual while maintaining clean, organized stations.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to read English, adapt to a fast pace, and a readiness to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll contribute to safety standards and a positive guest experience through reliable prep work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read recipes and food labels
• Must pass food safety certification per Florida statutes
• Able to read POS ticket orders

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
• Prepares menu items per recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Rotates products and stocks to par level.
• Assists prep work and stations setup.
• Transports items to and from kitchen; helps unload deliveries.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen area; closes stations properly
