The ONE GROUP is seeking a Prep Cook at our Carlsbad location to join a fast-paced culinary team. You will be responsible for executing high-quality dishes with precision and energy, while maintaining cleanliness and safety in a demanding kitchen environment.

You will follow recipes, assist with daily prep, and collaborate with BOH/FOH to ensure timely service and consistent plating. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent knife skills and variety of cooking methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all dishes from the assigned station with precision and efficiency.
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards to maintain consistency.
• Read and process food tickets accurately for timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
• Execute all menu items with proper technique, timing, and attention to detail.
• Assist with daily prep tasks, stocking ingredients and kitchen setup.
• Ensure storage and production areas are organized and maintained.
• Work with BOH and FOH teams to ensure seamless service.
