Job summary

SCA Health in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PreOp/PACU to support perioperative care. You will assess patients pre- and post‑operatively, monitor vital systems, and implement the perianesthesia plan to promote safe recovery.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PreOperative or PACU experience, an active nursing license, and BLS/BCLS; ACLS and PALS are preferred if pediatric care is involved. This full‑time, on‑site role offers a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Current state nursing license in good standing; BLS/BCLS, ACLS; PALS if pediatric care is included.

Responsibilities

• Assess preoperative and postoperative status at defined intervals.
• Monitor cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and pain status.
• Apply discharge criteria and develop a perioperative care plan.
• Provide hand-off reports and educate patients and families as needed.
• Maintain patient safety, wound integrity and infection prevention.
