Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Part-time Prenatal Education Specialist to assess community needs, develop and deliver educational programs and materials, and evaluate their effectiveness.

You will conduct sessions to prepare clients for birth and perinatal experiences, support learning opportunities for the organization and community, and maintain accurate program records in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a health-related field.
• 2 years of relevant health care education or program planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational sessions preparing clients for birth and prenatal experiences.
• Utilize adult education principles to facilitate class participation.
• Develop and revise course content, curriculum, and materials as needed.
• Coordinate speakers, schedules and promotions for educational events.
• Maintain accurate records and data for educational programs.

Education
