Corewell Health in Dearborn seeks a Nursing Professional Development Specialist to advance the practice of the NPD specialty. You will develop, implement and evaluate professional development programs for staff across the organization, align with the Nursing Professional Practice Model, and measure outcomes to close knowledge gaps.

This role emphasizes high-quality, culturally sensitive education and inter-professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in education.
• RN license in Michigan preferred.
• CRT-BC-NPD (Nursing Professional Development) certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops tools, theories, and knowledge to advance the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) specialty.
• Designs, implements, and evaluates professional development programs for staff at all career levels.
• Measures outcomes in learning change and alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborates with leaders and inter-professional teams to ensure education supports quality care.
• Analyzes learning data, ROI, and supports ongoing professional growth across the organization.
