Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a dedicated Prenatal Educator to teach and facilitate prenatal classes and support groups across St. Luke's Hospital and Health Network facilities.

You will coordinate materials, set up classrooms (virtual or in person), document attendance, share improvement ideas with the Prenatal Education team, and work with obstetric staff to support timely, evidence-based education for new families.

Qualifications

• IBCLC, Certified Lactation Counselor, or LPN with PA license and obstetrical/pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience in labor and delivery, newborn and postpartum care preferred.
• Certified childbirth educator with breastfeeding support knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instructor for prenatal classes and support groups as scheduled.
• Secures and maintains materials and equipment for classroom use.
• Teaches prenatal classes in person and/or virtually.
• Sets up classroom and online materials and restocks supplies.
• Maintains detailed documentation of class attendance and fees if applicable.
• Collaborates with the Prenatal Education Coordinator and Baby and Me department to evaluate services.
