Job summary

SMR Group Ltd, a disruptive Precision Molecular Diagnostics leader, seeks a Prenatal Account Executive to bring the first single-gene NIPT carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics and MFMs. You will deliver clinical information to external clients across your territory and collaborate with internal teams to evolve how the test is communicated to physicians and patients.

This field sales role reports to a Regional Manager - Prenatal and requires strong relationship-building with clinicians,

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of outside field sales experience within healthcare, calling on providers in the territory.
• Proven sales track record; strong understanding of buyers/decision makers; effective listening and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to internal and external customers.
• Time management with ability to assess and prioritize opportunities; quick closing mindset.
• Able to work independently in a startup environment; understands HIPAA/privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Increase utilization of Fetal Risk Screen; drive market development with OBGYNs, MFMs, and GCs.
• Develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders in medicine and healthcare professionals.
• Prospect and cultivate new business; maintain key relationships.
• Identify opportunities for growth within your geography—OBGYN, MFM, GC clinics, hospitals, FQHCs.
• Create strategic plan to rapidly grow utilization in territory.
• Manage full lifecycle of product sales: new business development and lead generation.
• Attend local trade shows, industry conferences and networking events.
