Job summary

Soho House seeks an experienced Server in Miami to educate members on menu items, allergies, and service standards, delivering an elevated guest experience. You will enter orders into the POS, collaborate with FOH/BOH, and support a seamless dining operation.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar setting, strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in similar capacity.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments and solve problems under pressure.
• Hospitable and approachable with strong customer service.
• Able to follow training and Club School guidelines.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Team-based and autonomous work capability.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management and complete checklists.
• Elevate member/guest dining experience with menu knowledge and suggest pairings to drive sales.
• Advise on allergies or red flags to management to mitigate risk.
• Complete end-of-shift checkout reports with sign-off by management.
• Follow health, safety, and company policies and standards.
• Ensure correct plating and timing of courses for members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets.
• Maintain server alley and bar area; polish wares.
• Know the menu to confidently suggest options to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
