Visual Comfort Co. in Skokie, IL, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support order processing and post-sale tasks. You will handle a high volume of documents, review orders daily, and assist customers by phone and email while escalating complex issues as needed.

The role requires experience with CRM and order management systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Weekend availability and a commitment to outstanding service are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Visual Comfort Customer Service or equivalent.
• Strong aptitude for navigating CRM and Order Management systems.
• Experience in interior design, luxury home furnishings or lighting is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and time management with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Mature judgement, dependability, punctuality and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a high volume of documents during the shift.
• Review new orders and process webs orders daily.
• Process and manage returns accurately and efficiently.
• Schedule and contact customers for LTL pick-ups with timely communication.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to support Customer Service.
• Escalate complex queries to leadership when appropriate.
• Participate in training on products, systems and design.
• Maintain professionalism with customers and team members.
