MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a diligent Customer Service Representative in Elk Grove Village, IL to support clients with product information and inquiries. You will handle orders by phone, prepare invoices, and assist with service sales in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include data entry to determine total costs, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with Logistics. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Associate Degree in Business, Administration or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers by phone for orders on consumable parts.
• Fills out invoice forms, determines charges for parts requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records and issues discontinuance orders.
• Solicits sale of new or additional services.
• Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by customer.
• Enters data into computer to determine total cost for customer.
• Checks inventory control and notifies Logistics Department of orders that would deplete stock.
• Initiates purchase requisitions
• Other duties may be assigned
