Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a Meat Department team member to receive, rotate, cut, and merchandise fresh and processed meats. You will assist in deli and rotisserie areas, ensure sanitation, and help maintain club standards while delivering member-focused service.

The role requires an apprenticeship or training program completion, prior meat cutting experience, and familiarity with wrapping machines; candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and provides assistance to Members by making recommendations along with answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and/or processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
