Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department team member to perform cutting, grinding, and wrapping of fresh meats, while assisting Members with product knowledge and service.

The role emphasizes maintaining safety, sanitation, and proper stocking in a fast-paced environment. Prior meat cutting experience and completion of an apprenticeship are preferred; must be 18 or older, with ability to work a physically demanding schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of training program or apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Maintains all department sanitation and safety standards.
• Ensures proper stock and displays in meat cases.
