Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced meat department team member. You will engage members, assist with meat, poultry, seafood cuts, and maintain sanitation standards while delivering friendly service.

You will weigh, wrap, label, stock, and rotate products, support club policies, and help ensure a safe, fast, and accurate member experience in a vibrant warehouse club environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages Members by making recommendations regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains inventory and ensures cases are stocked.
• Rotates products according to expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and displays in the meat department.
• Follows safety and sanitation guidelines.
