Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department team member to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special cuts, for Members. This role requires a training program or apprenticeship and prior meat cutting experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises meats to company standards.
• Assists in meat selection and special cuts for Members.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Rotates products according to expiration dates.
• Supports club policies and works with team across departments.
