Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to deliver a premium in-person customer experience at our TurboTax Expert Office location in New York.

You will warmly greet clients, understand their situations, and guide them to the right service or expert within the TurboTax network. This seasonal, non-exempt role requires a minimum 20-hour weekly schedule, with availability for afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in hospitality, customer service, guest relations, or another high-touch customer-facing role.
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving customer needs through effective communication and empathy.
• A high school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers as they enter the office, setting a welcoming, professional tone from the first moment.
• Listen attentively and ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer’s unique situation, concerns, and needs.
• Serve as a knowledgeable guide, helping customers understand their options and feel confident they are being directed to the right service or expert.
• Accompany customers through their entire experience — from arrival to a smooth hand-off — ensuring every touchpoint feels personal, clear, and supportive.
• Reduce friction at every step: answer questions, resolve concerns, and remove obstacles so the customer experience is effortless.
• Follow up thoughtfully with customers to ensure they received the support they needed and any questions are resolved.
• Support customer acquisition and retention activities, including in-store programming and events, and networking and marketing activities outside the store.
