Highgate Hotels in Miami is seeking a friendly Concierge to welcome guests, provide local recommendations, and assist with reservations and directions. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a positive first impression and a seamless guest experience in a luxury hotel environment.

The role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and computer skills, with a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to prioritize multple requests.
• Computer experience required.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and employees.
• Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and assist guests concerning: restaurants, theaters, airlines, car rentals, transportation, and reservations.
• Maintain current listing of local attractions and events.
• Maintain listings of local transportation guides and venues.
• Provide hours of operations for hotel restaurants, lounges and shops.
• Offer maps and directions as required.
• Maintain lobby reader board and brochure racks.
• Follow emergency procedures and assist accordingly.
• Provide personalized calls to VIPs and designated guests welcoming them to the hotel.
• Communicate daily functions and locations within the hotel.
• Assist the front desk when needed.
• Assist guests with retrieval of packages.
• Provide gift certificates for purchase.
• Maintain in-room TV channel listings and show rooms as needed.
• Oversee lobby and entrance area cleanliness.
