Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Tech-Advisor in Wallingford, CT. The role combines counter service, vehicle inspection-based education, and occasional technician duties in the shop to support customer experience and VIP program execution.

Responsibilities

• Work at the counter as a service writer necessary, serving customers by consulting with them, building relationships, and educating them about vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Work in the shop as a technician when necessary, taking work orders and completing services per VIP standards.
• Fulfill all required training and certification for both Service Writer and Installation Technician positions.
• Achieve better than average customer engagement and billed hours as measured by VIP Tech-Advisor productivity.
• Learn and execute all activities assigned by the Service Manager to deliver a better customer experience.
