Job summary

Hyde Park Hospitality is seeking a Food and Beverage Runner for the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at the San Diego International Airport. The F&B Runner delivers mobile orders to guests at their table, ensuring timely service and high quality.

You will assist front and back of house staff, relay orders to chefs, serve items, and engage guests with hospitality and courtesy. The role requires strong communication, active listening, and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Friendly, enthusiastic guest interaction required.
• Ability to handle high paced environment with professionalism.
• Strong communication and attentive listening to guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a positive guest experience and resolves complaints with guest satisfaction in mind.
• Acts as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicates food orders to chefs, noting priorities and allergies.
• Assists wait staff with table setting and placing tableware.
• Serves food and beverages in a timely and safe manner.
• Checks in with guests and provides refills as needed.
• Informs restaurant staff about guest feedback or requests.
• Maintains knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
• Removes dirty dishes and utensils.
• Answers guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Ensures timely and safe delivery of items ordered.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
