Job summary

Hyde Park Hospitality, LLC is seeking an F&B Runner to deliver best-in-class guest service at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, LaGuardia Airport. You will deliver food and beverage orders to guests' tables, coordinate with Front and Back of House, and ensure timely service while maintaining high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be hospitality-focused, possess strong listening and communication skills, and be able to work across shifts, including weekends, in a fast-paced airport

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and awareness of surroundings and cultural differences.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and group settings.
• Maintain a polished appearance in a best-in-class environment.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long hours.
• Availability to work weekends and varied shifts.
• Multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Must pass and obtain security background check for airport environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a positive guest experience and resolves complaints with guest satisfaction in mind.
• Acts as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicates food orders to chefs, noting priorities and allergies.
• Assists wait staff with table settings and replenishes utensils and napkins.
• Serves food and beverages in a timely and safe manner.
• Checks in with guests and takes additional orders or refills.
• Notifies staff about guest feedback or requests.
• Maintains knowledge of all offerings.
• Removes dirty dishes and utensils.
• Answers guests' questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Ensures timely delivery of items ordered.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
