Golden Nugget Lake Charles is seeking a Catering & Conference Planning Manager to coordinate all aspects of function planning, including recreation arrangements, meeting setup, meal functions, and group billing, with a goal to exceed budgeted revenues while managing payroll and food/beverage costs.

You will supervise and liaise with operation departments, ensure client satisfaction, train staff, and be visible on the floor during functions; a four-year or two-year degree with relevant experience

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a two (2) year college degree and at least three (3) years of related experience; or a four (4) year college degree and two (2) or more years of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and Golden Nugget policies.
• Deliver courteous, professional guest service in all interactions.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel scheduling.
• Ensure proper uniform and grooming.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Oversee department operations and performance to ensure client satisfaction.
• Create, review and revise rooming lists and VIP lists.
• Manage function books and space to maximize revenue.
