Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Senior Catering Manager in Las Vegas to oversee daily catering operations with a focus on strategic planning, staff development, and SOP implementation. You will drive revenue growth by managing high-profile clients and coordinating event details to ensure exceptional service throughout the catering process.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of catering, convention, or banquet experience and a background in boutique or luxury resort settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of catering, convention, and/or banquet experience.
• Strong knowledge of catering practices.
• Experience in boutique or luxury resort settings preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for high-revenue convention clients with food & beverage revenue.
• Assist Director with annual budget and forecast goals, including new products and marketing strategies.
• Engage in sales strategy to maximize revenue and manage contracts with clients.
• Direct and oversee daily Catering team activities and coach staff on performance.
• Maintain adherence to guest service and brand standards across catering operations.
