Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

Role requires inspecting vehicles, planning repairs, and ensuring work meets KPI targets. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and either technical training or a 3-year

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools to repair sections of a vehicle (cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, pliers).
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
