Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble with a focus on speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You’ll work with the team to meet KPIs and be a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers and locations.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resins as needed to repair damage.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass, windshields, or interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach parts and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
