Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. You will work with the team to meet KPIs, ensure quality, and act as a brand ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The role requires reading job orders, performing repairs with a variety of tools, and maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair or replace glass, interior parts, and repaint as needed.
• Meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
