Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs that restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles, playing a key role in achieving KPIs as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting tools, realigning chassis, and replacing parts or glass.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer is required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates; use tools to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed to repair dents.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; replace glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts and repaint vehicles per factory specs.
• Aim to complete work orders within labour time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
