Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to restore pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and either a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Plan and perform repair work within labor time guidelines.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, and apply factory-specified paint or approved finishes.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and KPI adherence.
