Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Manager - Execution Planning to lead preconstruction activities, planning, risk management, and seamless handoffs to operations. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontracting, procurement, and engineering inputs, mentoring staff, and maintaining client relationships.

The role supports multiple office locations with potential remote-based work and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management, Law, Business or related field.
• 5-7 years relevant experience with 2 years of Project Management experience.
• Experience in Preconstruction required.
• Renewables industry construction and contract negotiations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and supervise project work and staff during preconstruction to handoff.
• Supervise and mentor direct reports and oversee projects to meet deliverables.
• Establish and maintain client relationships internal and external.
• Provide regular reporting to Preconstruction leadership and executives as required.
• Coordinate with Legal, Commercial, Estimating, and other support departments.
• Work with Estimating to gain early knowledge and input for the initial project plan.
• Partner with Procurement to obtain updated quotes for scope areas.
• Coordinate with Engineering on initial subcontracting or procurement.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports and invoices to clients.
