Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Manager - Execution Planning to lead preconstruction, planning, risk management, and transition to project operations. You will coordinate subcontracts, suppliers, engineers, and client negotiations, while mentoring staff. Remote flexibility with travel to office and field sites is available.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Legal, Commercial, Estimating, and Procurement to ensure a seamless handoff and robust project plans for renewables projects.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Law, Business or related field.
• 5-7 years relevant experience with 2 years of Project Management experience required.
• Experience in Preconstruction required.
• Renewables industry construction and contract negotiations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of all assigned projects and staff during preconstruction up to handoff.
• Supervise and mentor direct reports and oversee project deliverables.
• Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
• Provide regular reporting to Preconstruction leadership and executives.
• Manage preconstruction activities with Legal, Commercial, Estimating, and other departments.
• Travel for project preplanning coordination as necessary.
• Prepare monthly reports and invoices to clients.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction documents (Preconstruction Checklist, Risk Register, Lessons Learned).
• Facilitate Project Operations team completion of the full project execution plan.
