Jacobs Advanced Manufacturing group seeks a proactive Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge design and construction, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while coordinating with design, procurement and construction teams. Expect extensive communication across disciplines and travel up to 50% across North America.

The role supports data center projects nationwide, with a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities to shape risk management, constructability reviews and scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent.
• 5+ years managing industrial/commercial construction projects.
• Experience with 3D modelling software.
• Field construction experience on active projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction planning including bid packages, scheduling, estimating, VDC modeling and reporting.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and sequencing plans.
• Drive collaboration among stakeholders and manage client interface.
• Lead planning with design, procurement and construction teams.
• Develop risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate safety, quality and project services groups.
• Develop site logistics plans and subcontracting strategies.
