Job summary

Amazon, through its Global Engineering Services North America Design & Construction team, seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection to design completion, permitting, and contract execution.

You will partner with Real Estate, Design Engineering, and external vendors to define scope, budget and schedule, manage KPIs, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years project management experience from design through operation.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and KPI tracking for multiple projects.
• Coordinate with AHJ, vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliance.
• Prepare status and risk reports for leadership.
