Amazon's Global Engineering Services NA Design & Construction is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to act as the senior owner's representative during preconstruction, overseeing cross-functional industrial building projects from site selection to design completion, permitting, and contract execution in NA.

Qualifications

• Senior owner's representative with full preconstruction lifecycle experience.
• Lead planning, design, and preconstruction projects for industrial buildings.
• Define scope, budget, and schedule, including permits.
• Own budgets, oversee design management, select external vendors, and lead procurement.
• Mentor preconstruction managers and contribute to internal/external networks.

Responsibilities

• Act as Amazon's senior owner's representative in preconstruction.
• Manage complex, cross-functional industrial building projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure scope, budget, and schedule definitions are established and permits secured.
• Lead planning, design, and preconstruction activities for built-to-suit, tenant improvements, extensions and renovations.
• Oversee budgets, design management, vendor selection, and procurement; ensure external teams perform to expectations.
• Guide best practices in stakeholder management and expand Amazon's construction networks.
