Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Pre-Construction Manager in Denver, CO to lead estimating and planning support for the SBU. You will supervise estimating and business development teams, coordinating with clients to drive cost modeling and pricing for profitable projects.

The role requires extensive construction estimating experience, CMiC or similar systems familiarity, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage multiple bids through qualification to award.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience estimating commercial and/or industrial construction projects, including hard-bid, design-build, and conceptual estimating.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers and/or the general public.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for estimating and planning support personnel.
