Job summary

Vertex Integration Partners is seeking an experienced Pre-construction Manager to lead the pre-construction phase of major electrical projects from award through mobilization.

This leadership role ensures scope, budgets, schedules, and constructibility are carried through to field execution, coordinating estimating, clients, and project teams. You will drive value engineering, risk reviews, schedule development, procurement coordination, and reporting on project readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years electrical construction experience focused on estimating and pre-construction.
• 2–3 years of project management with leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, plans and specs.
• Experience with mission-critical projects and large commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pre-construction planning from award to mobilization.
• Bridge estimating and operations to ensure bid assumptions carry into field.
• Coordinate client and pre-contract communications.
• Review construction documents to identify gaps and risks.
• Oversee budgets, estimates, and cost control for profitability.
• Develop schedules and identify milestones.
• Lead value engineering to optimize cost and performance.
• Manage subcontractor pre-qualification and procurement coordination.
• Identify and mitigate risks prior to mobilization.
• Report project readiness to senior leadership.
