Job summary

Pivot Energy seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead cross-functional preconstruction activities, align terms, and drive cost-effective strategies across diverse project delivery methods. The role collaborates with Development, Legal, Project Management, Finance, Procurement, Engineering and Compliance to ensure aligned scope and strong document discipline.

Qualifications

• Understand job costing methodologies and related reporting or analytics tools.
• Experience with project management software, job costing systems and ERP platforms.
• Ability to coordinate with Development, Legal, Finance, Engineering and Procurement.
• Ensure budgets are structured for execution and aligned with risk and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor engagement, bidding and commercial alignment from preconstruction through contract execution.
• Support cost estimates, budgets, RFQ/RFP processes, and reconciliation of pricing with procurement.
• Manage contract exhibits, scope alignment, and risk/obligation tracking across delivery methods.
• Ensure documentation discipline, issue logs, and clear handoff to project delivery.
• Support eight-focus areas: Stakeholder, Contract, Quality, Financial, Schedule, Compliance, Risk, Document Management.
• Maintain schedule baselines and ensure execution readiness with emerging risks and contingencies.
