Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Preconstruction Manager for Complex Infrastructure Projects in the United States. You will guide the project from early concept through design development, subcontractor selection, and turnover to the delivery team, integrating design, cost, schedule, procurement, and site logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Eight or more years of progressive experience in general contracting, design-build, EPC, construction management, project management, or preconstruction.
• Demonstrate strong constructability reviews and ability to lead design-to-budget discussions.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, site logistics, safety, and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preconstruction process establishing project plans, milestones, responsibilities, and decision requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Estimating, Scheduling, and clients to ensure timely decisions.
• Provide constructability input and participate in value-engineering discussions from a construction perspective.
• Develop construction sequence, phasing, and logistics for successful turnover to field teams.
