Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend.
• Basic computer usage knowledge.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics.
• Welding tech degree/certificate or 2+ years welding experience; AWS D.1.1 within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and cut to meet blueprint standards.
• Perform GMAW and/or FCAW welding using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
• Trim, file, grind, sand, deburr, buff and smooth surfaces with hand tools and portable power tools.
• Read and interpret schematics (blueprints) and work orders.
• Maintain daily time records and other required records/documentation.
