Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join a global manufacturing client in Hastings, Michigan. You will build, repair, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and production tooling with high precision to support high-volume operations.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, performing precision machining, and testing tooling during production runs. This role offers full-time direct-hire employment with competitive benefits and shift premiums.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Tool & Die Apprenticeship completed
• 4+ years Toolmaker experience or 8+ years progressive Toolmaker experience

Responsabilités

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling for high-volume manufacturing.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, and specifications to determine machining methods.
• Set up, operate, and maintain mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and CNC Tool Room equipment.
• Inspect tooling and machined components for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Diagnose tooling failures and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
