Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Toolmaker for a Hastings, Michigan facility to build, repair, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and production tooling in a modern Tool Room.

You will read engineering drawings, set up manual and CNC equipment, and perform precision machining and inspection to tight tolerances, contributing to continuous improvement and tooling reliability. 2nd/3rd shifts, full-time, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints and specs.
• Completed Tool & Die apprenticeship or equivalent industrial experience (4+ years).
• Experience building/repairing dies, fixtures, molds and precision tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify and maintain precision tooling for high-volume production.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC tool room equipment.
• Perform precision machining, finishing, and inspection to tight tolerances.
• Diagnose tooling failures and implement repairs to minimise downtime.
