Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Toolmaker for a Hastings, Michigan facility. You will build, repair, and maintain precision tooling for high-volume production, reading engineering drawings and CAD prints to determine methods and sequences.

You will operate manual mills, lathes, grinders and CNC Tool Room equipment, perform precision surface grinding, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Tool & Die apprenticeship with 4 years' Toolmaker experience, or 8 years progressive Toolmaker experience.
• Experience building and repairing production dies, fixtures, molds, and precision tooling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, and technical documentation.
• Experience operating manual machines and CNC Tool Room equipment.

Responsibilities
