Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in tool and die maintenance, machining, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with hand tools, precision measurement instruments, and polishing or cleaning machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, and reassemble mechanical tooling components.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance instructions, safety procedures, technical documentation, and measurement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, refurbish, and reassemble worn or damaged dies using appropriate hand tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tooling to maximize performance and extend service life.
• Inspect dies for wear, accuracy, and surface condition using precision instruments.
• Document maintenance history and tooling condition in records.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and Production to address tooling-related issues.
