Qualifications

• Minimum five years automotive tool & die experience.
• Knowledge in pneumatics.
• Experience with nut setting equipment.
• Metric system knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of press operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general drilling, tapping, milling, turning, and grinding in the tool room.
• Service dies in the Press Shop.
• Repair dies during press failures.
• Ensure quality of press parts through die maintenance.
• Maintain spare parts stock.
• Service dies with stamping nuts and related equipment.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance on tooling.
• Reconstruct dies through turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.
• Spot dies.
• MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
