Responsibilities

• Analyzes specifications, lays-out metal stock, sets-up and operates machine tools.
• Fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair metal working dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and machinists' hand tools.
• Modifies dies to conform to engineering changes.
• Provides assistance and guidance to apprentices.
