Qualifications

• Experience in machining and toolmaking.
• Familiarity with precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Experience with CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines.
• Blueprint reading, 3D CAD viewing, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of materials and tolerances.
• Proficient with CAD/CAM software and other design or machining software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures to ensure high-quality production standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vibratory welding equipment and tooling.
• Analyze blueprints and CAD models to repair or modify tooling.
• Develop tooling prototypes and production tooling.
• Operate and maintain CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to manufacture tooling.
• Inspect tooling, molds, and dies for accuracy and quality control.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performance.
• Train operators and junior technicians in best practices.
