Job summary

Wesco is hiring a Production Assembler in Gilberts, IL. You will assemble fabricated parts and units at floor stations, prepare parts for testing, and calibrate components to meet tolerances and specs. You will identify units that fail tests and perform repairs as needed.

The role includes proposing measures to boost productivity, performing simple screening operations, and inspecting work for quality. Shift is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts and units at floor stations.
• Test and calibrate parts to meet specifications.
• Identify units that fail tests and repair as needed.
• Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Perform and log preventative maintenance on production equipment.
