Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Production Assembler to assemble fabricated parts and units at floor stations, prepare parts for testing, and calibrate mechanisms to meet specifications. You will identify defective units and perform repairs as needed, while proposing measures to boost productivity and efficiency.

The role supports a 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. shift, with responsibilities including simple screening, testing for quality, and maintaining equipment. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of job-related experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
• Prepare parts for testing and calibrate to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
• Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
• Inspect and test work for quality and log scheduled maintenance of production equipment.
