Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Production Assembler to assemble fabricated parts and units at floor stations, preparing parts for testing and calibrating to meet tolerances and specifications. You will identify tests that fail and repair as necessary, while proposing measures to boost productivity and efficiency.

The role operates Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for progression within a Fortune 250

Qualifications

Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to precisely measure.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
Inspect and test work for quality.
Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
Determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
Stage job materials for production according to procedure.
