Job summary

Wabtec is hiring a Production Assembler in McPherson, Kansas. You will assemble quality products using hand tools, read blueprints, and follow detailed work instructions to build parts and finished goods.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to work independently. Schedule is 1st shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday with overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build, and test parts/finished goods per blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Complete assembly checklists accurately and on time.
• Monitor and report stock levels to Shop Floor Lead(s).
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Uphold Wabtec's Code of Conduct and company standards.
