Job summary

stellantisexternalcx is seeking a skilled Millwright in Michigan to install, assemble, and dismantle complex machinery and systems. You will move equipment to the correct location, assemble from components, and apply precision measurement to achieve tight tolerances.

The role requires experience with welding, layout interpretation, and use of various hand and power tools, with readiness for overtime on a manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an Apprenticeship Certificate as a Millwright or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; several years preferred.
• Ability to read layout plans, blueprints, and drawings to determine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery, conveyor systems, pulleys, gear boxes, hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
• Transport and position machines using forklifts, hoists, cranes, and related equipment.
• Assemble machines from component parts and understand machine function.
• Operate tools including levels, welding machines, micrometers, and other precision devices to meet tolerances.
• Read and interpret layouts; work from blueprints to determine procedures.
