Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Apprenticeship or equivalent Millwright experience as specified.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Experience in manufacturing environments as a millwright.
• Ability to read layouts, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience dismantling machines with hand tools and welding knowledge.
• Ability to move machinery using hoists, dollies, and trucks.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery, conveyors, pulleys, and gear boxes.
• Transport and locate machines per floor plans using forklifts and cranes.
• Assemble equipment from component parts and understand machine function.
• Work with electronics, pneumatics, and computer systems as needed.
• Use micrometers and precision devices to achieve tight tolerances.
• Follow complex instruction manuals for assembly and maintenance.
• Perform incidental tasks to complete larger projects.
